I created ai-legal insight as a way to learn, document my progress, and better understand how emerging technologies are transforming law, business, and society. What started as simple curiosity about AI quickly turned into a much deeper journey. The more I explored topics like artificial intelligence, data protection, automation, and digital regulation, the more I realized how difficult it can be to find explanations that are both approachable and genuinely useful beyond technical buzzwords.

Alongside my legal traineeship in Germany, I am currently pursuing an LL.M. in Legal Informatics, focusing on the intersection of law and technology. I am also an active voluntary member of the Legal Tech Lab Cologne, where I contribute to one of Germany’s leading Legal Tech communities and engage with discussions surrounding the future of the legal profession and digital transformation.

Through ai-legal insight, I write about topics such as the EU AI Act, GDPR, Legal Tech, AI tools, automation, data protection, and the broader societal impact of artificial intelligence. I don’t write because I claim to have all the answers – quite the opposite. This blog is part of my own ongoing learning journey. Writing helps me stay curious, ask better questions, reflect on new developments, and hold myself accountable to continuously learn in a field that evolves almost daily.
My goal is to make complex developments in AI and digital law more understandable, practical, and thought-provoking while sharing the perspective of a young legal professional navigating this transformation in real time.
